Teenagers

The teenage years can be trying for teens and parents. Research shows that the teenage brain is rapidly changing, and the teens and those around them are constantly struggling to keep up. Teenagers experience physical changes and new independence which create a lot of confusion and angst in adolescents. They experience a real push and pull – if they grow as individuals, does that mean they are not going to fit into their family structure anymore? These conflicting emotions trigger painful emotions and often lead to adolescent anger. Rifka Schonfeld helps harness the power of those changes in the teenage brain to help him or her succeed.
